EXLA London really know their stuff, we had tried selling our ex-council flat with another agent who kept finding buyers but the buyers kept on getting refused a mortgage, they then told us we could only sell to a cash buyer. We asked EXLA to come and have a look and they were confident banks would lend and that the buyers just hadn’t been advised correctly on which banks would lend on our style of property. EXLA found us a buyer, pointed the buyer in the right direction and we exchanged in May 2018. Selling a council property isn’t always as straight forward as selling other properties so it makes sense to use someone who specialises in selling them.
